The Computer Science Department at the University of Makeni (UniMak) was established in 2009 with Anthony Davasahyam as the first Head of Department. The vision of providing high-quality education in the field of technology and equipping students with the skills necessary to succeed in a rapidly changing digital world. Founding: The Computer Science Department was established in 2009 when the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) gave accreditation to the university of Makeni (UNIMAK).
